That sounds a lot like what I do. I used to have this goal of visiting a new place on Long Island every weekend and then writing about it during the week. Well, with family, work, and everything else, I'm lucky if I can get that done once every other month :)

Boating with the Baymen was pretty interesting. I took a tour of Long Island's bay houses with Long Island Traditions and that was even better than the baymen tour. My post on that is way overdue, but I'm working on it...

Bill,
Thanks for the kind words. It is long overdue, but I added your site as a link on Soundbounder. I was updating some things this week and finally took care of it.

As for getting around so much,....it is not as much as it appears. I get a lot of it sailing in the summer. Then once a month or so, I take a Sunday and visit an area.

I always enjoy your site Bill.
Recently I was just looking at your Boating With The Baymen post.

Hey, I'm a fan of your sites, so plugging is my pleasure. Let me know when the next meet-up is and I'll be there.
