Davis Park, Fire Island
Long Island photographer and guest contributor Alida Thorpe recently spent a couple of weeks in Davis Park. She writes:
My take on Davis might not be the summer experience but more of Davis as a community. I don’t own a house here but visit more in spring and fall. I’ve got a good place to rent with 180 degree views of the Great South Bay. It’s half-price in September which suits me just fine. I don’t like the summer crowds anyway. It’s beautiful!
