Post Labor Day Video
Here’s a YouTube video that I made while lamenting the end of summer. I’ll spare you the rant because I did that last year, but I like the video. Not so much the me part, but definitely the music.
“Sunday,” a melancholy instrumental from the album Great Balls of Fire Island, says more about that post Labor Day feeling than I could ever write.
What summer looks like on Long Island
What a peaceful way to remember the summer here on Long Island. The music combined with the photos reminds me more of Long Island in the “old” days, nice job.

Thanks, Lily. All the pictures in that video are from summer, 2007. Not exactly the old days, but I know what you mean. My children are in some of those photographs, so the old days thing rings true with me.

Great little video to end the summer.
It is tough to see the summer end but look at the great photos and memories! You did a really nice job combining the scenes and music.
Take care,
Alida

Great idea for a website, I will book mark it. I grew up in Bay Shore, in the house across the street from the High School(the one next to what was then the high school practice field). Anyway, I left LI. for good in 89, but my heart and soul have never been far away. I live in the Pacific Northwest and carry a great pride of LI. with me every day. Your video really struck home. Nice job.
